This page explains what dpi.lk collects about you, why, and what we do with it. It is written plainly because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.

Who we are

dpi.lk is run by DIRECT PORT (PVT) LTD, trading as DPI Sri Lanka, Bodirukkarama Road, Waragoda, Kelaniya 11600.

What we collect

When you place an order we ask for your name, one or two mobile numbers, and a delivery address. That is all. We do not ask for an email address and we do not use passwords.

We keep a record of what you ordered, what it cost, how you paid and where it was sent, because we need it to deliver the order, honour the warranty and keep our accounts.

Your mobile number

Your number is your account. We use it to call or text you about your order, to send the one-time code that signs you in, and to answer you if you message us.

One-time codes are sent through Dialog eSMS, which handles the message on our behalf. We do not sell, rent or pass your number to anyone else, and we do not send marketing texts unless you ask us to.

Cookies

The shop sets cookies so your cart survives while you browse and so you stay signed in after entering your code. Without them the shop cannot work. We run no advertising trackers.

Payment

Cash on delivery is settled with the courier and we never see card details. Bank transfers happen in your own banking app; we only see the receipt you choose to send us.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for the length of the warranty and as long as the tax authorities require. After that they are removed.
